Job Overview
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is undergoing a cloud-data and self-service reporting/analytics transformation, moving all enterprise data to a new cloud platform. This BI Transformation Lead role on the Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) team will be the key business intelligence expert assisting all business units across the company in transitioning legacy reporting from Cognos and other tools to PowerBI on Microsoft Azure. This position will also be responsible for being the go-to resource to conduct internal PowerBI trainings, develop state-of-the-art BI analytics and lead educational user groups of all skill levels.
Responsibilities
- Provide handson assistance to business units across the company with migration of enterprise reporting to PowerBI
- Be an ondemand support and educational resource, assisting the organization in adopting the new cloud data platform and related tools, with an emphasis on PowerBI
- Lead internal trainings on PowerBI and related tools at all skill levels, ranging from absolute beginner to expert
- Establish a Business Intelligence community within MBUSA to share best practices and foster organizational growth toward selfservice reporting capabilities
- Be an expert resource that can work alongside any business unit within the company to provide business intelligence and analytical support to solve critical business problems
- Be the owner of business intelligence reporting creation and automation within the EDO for tasks such as KPI tracking and Data Quality reporting.
