Job Description

Major Responsibilities

  • Support firm-wide BIM migration to maturity to Level 2 as set out under PAS 1192
  • Manage, organize, and coordinate BIM resources
  • Setup, review and improve office BIM standards
  • Guide initial project implementation to ensure a consistent BIM workflow from start to finish
  • Provide recommendation, direction, and support to various project teams on BIM issues
  • Provide/ Coordinate BIM training to in-house staff

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Create parametric families for projects as required to support design, GBP submission and documentation stages
  • Mentor the team on best practices and tips and tricks for efficient use of BIM
  • Work with firm-wide resources to support AutoCAD-based projects

 

Requirements

  • Degree or above in Architecture or equivalent, with min. 7 years of post-qualification experience in design and/ or construction practice, and min. of 5 years of practical experience in management of BIM projects
  • Professional member of CIC / HKIBIM
  • Extensive knowledge and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit Architecture and related BIM software
  • Solid understanding of Navisworks and AutoCAD applications and best practices
  • Familiarity with design applications such as Rhino, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. are a plus
  • Articulate communicator, able to convey BIM concepts to all levels of design and delivery leadership
  • Familiar with local architectural practice is a plus.

 

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant BIM Manager.
