What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Advising the Unit Leadership team of opportunities and risks associated with REVIT/BIM development and implementation of REVIT systems, templates, families etc;
• Lead the BIM Team and collaborate with our offices in other cities or region to deliver BIM projects;
• Prepare and maintain project BIM execution plans;
• Monitoring project teams’ use of BIM on projects & reporting progress;
• QA/QC of project models and communicating issues/errors in the model to project teams to correct;
• Establish documented processes, procedures and workflows for each project;
• Support business development & client relationship development;
• Strong desire to train and up-skill REVIT/BIM users, from junior operators through to experienced professionals, and be able to influence key stakeholders at various levels across the business; and
• Explore and develop tools to suit our business use.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:

• Candidates should have an Engineering degree or equivalent with minimum 8-10 years of project delivery experience as well as a minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on BIM management experience. Holder of CIC Certified BIM Manager is advantageous.
• Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Working knowledge of engineering design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities.
• Experience with multiple REVIT/BIM roles: training and support, mentor, project team member and strategic leader.
