At Siemens Mobility, we understand that the key to success in the signaling industry is efficient collaboration. To that end, we are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the BIM process and software, as well as experience working on construction/signaling projects. We expect from this person to be responsible for creating and maintaining BIM models for our projects, as well as coordinating with other team members to ensure that the models are accurate and up to date. The BIM modeler specialist will also be responsible for leading visualizations and animations to help our clients understand the construction process as well as performing quality control checks on the BIM models prior to submission. Description Serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM modeling related questions and requests under the BIM Manager. Understand the project requirements and objectives and develop a BIM model accordingly. Work with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that the BIM model meets the needs of the project under the BIM Manager supervision. Coordinate with the field team to ensure that the BIM model is accurate and up to date. Revise the BIM model as needed based on feedback from the design team and field team. Generate reports and documentation as needed to support the project team. Attend meetings as needed to represent the BIM modeling team. Train team members on the use of BIM software and best practices. Stay up to date on the latest BIM software and technologies. Manage the library of BIM elements (graphical and no graphical information). Perform quality control checks on the BIM model to ensure accuracy. Skills required Bachelor/Master in a technical area related to construction or infrastructures 3-5 years of experience as BIM Modeler on projects. 1-3 years of experience leading teams in BIM environment. Very custumer oriented. Experience in CAD and 3D Modelling. Experience in Civil modeling with the Bentley (OpenRoads/OpenRail) and Autodesk ecosystems (Revit, Navisworks). Experience in working with the BIM methodology. GIS/QGIS basic knowledge. Knowledge of PostgreSQL and PostGIS. Proficiency with web development tools (node.js/html/javascript). Familiarity with the iModel.js web development libraries. - Great verbal and written communication skills in English. Being familiar with the ISO19650 and related digitalization standards.
