Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Construction of the components in Siemens NX as per methodology & documenting it in PLM system for downstream processes.
2. Design and development of concepts for the Body in White projects as per the product development milestones & cross-functional requirements.
3. Extended support for the Body in White projects, Provide innovative solutions and concepts, Interactions with cross-functional teams.
4. Creation, documentation and archiving of all necessary joining elements according to methodology.
5. Taking care of manufacturing, assembly & GD&T requirements, supporting for the release management activities.
6. Ensure effective communication with Business partners, Innovation & Knowledge sharing with in the team.
7. Ensure quality and timelines of every deliverables in the projects.
8. Adherence of Quality Management System and Weekly status tracking and reporting to partners.
9. Generating ideas for cost reduction and weight reduction.
10. Generating ideas from project for innovation and Process improvement
Desired Skill Set:

0. Working Experience on BIW Structure and good knowledge about product design and development.
1. Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.
2. Capable of executing the activities within the agreed timeline.
3. Expert in Sheetmetal surface design, defects & Manufacturing process.
4. Knowledge in benchmarking, Problem Solving Skills and cost reduction.
5. Knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing and assembly processes of BIW.
6. Knowledge of joining elements, manufacturing, GD&T & assembly processes.
7. Good communication and presentation skills
8. Casting knowledge (Nice to Have)
9. Exposure to intercultural aspects and German language will be an added advantage.
