Job description:
You will join SAE-Product Department of Celestica Global Design Service as Open BMC Lead. In this position, you will be responsible to develop and/or customize embedded management software (openBMC) for various network products and deliver high quality software package for customers. As the team lead, you also need to manage the team and do customer communication.

 

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1)Create software architecture design and/or module design specifications and drive detailed design activities including coding, code review, unit test, integration test and functional verification.
2)Coordinate software test/verification and debug, support system integration and validation. Manage issues/defects and drive root cause analysis/bug fix.

3)Drive to coordinate software test/verification and debug, support system integration and validation. Drive to dig out the root cause of the bug and bug fix.

4)Coordinate manufactory test/validation and jointly create the test/verification specification.
5)Lead software development process evolution.

6)Team daily management and project management

7)Customer communication and manage the weekly meeting with customer

Qualification:
1)Master or Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or equivalent.
2)5+ years for Bachelor and 3+ for Master of software development experience while at least 3 years of Linux based software development.
3)In-depth understanding one of Linux device driver, IPC, file system, storage stack or memory management.

4) Familiar with two or more of the following: I2C, UART, SPI, PCIe/PCI, Ethernet, DDR and Power Management.
5)Solid C/C++ , Linux shell and Makefile  programming skills, experience in Python, Java, Tcl is a plus.

6)Ability to rapidly acquire working knowledge of unfamiliar new technologies.

7)Previous team technical lead experience is preferred.

8)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin as the position may require direct communication with customers.
