Accountabilities
Internal Customer:
- Assisting the Head of Procurement in establishing and maintaining an ‘audit proof’ procurement system for the business requirement, and reducing the purchasing spend by the most appropriate means.
- Assist in setting up a Procurement IT System adopting the best – in – class system with “automation” ensuring seamless operating effort, user friendliness and transparency and visibility for management reporting
- Leading process documentation and optimization initiatives/projects to deliver a best in class operational capabilities by continually improving services and productivities across the department/function
- Collaborates with internal business partners to understand demand and supplier needs and trends, and analyzes data and financial information related to total cost of ownership to identify opportunities for cost reductions.
Problem Complexity / Process:
- Effective design, implement and management of our supply chains to achieve substantial cost savings by consistently integrating/improving country procurement activities
People Management:
- Developing the capability of all staff;
- Developing KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance;
- Conducting performance appraisal
- Identifying training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
