The proliferation of Bluetooth Audio technologies continues to grow rapidly with several new standards and user-experiences that are being developed for the PC ecosystem. Intel Connectivity is looking for innovative and motivated Systems Architect, with deep knowledge in Audio processing; to help develop our next generation Bluetooth Audio experiences. And to introduce leading edge products while making giant strides in improving the PC user experience with various Bluetooth-enabled peripheral devices.
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Defining systems architecture of multiple disciplines such as requirements for Audio codecs/software/hardware partition, addressing standards while considering Performance/Cost/Power tradeoffs
- Developing and driving new and innovative Audio features in Bluetooth ecosystem
- Leading Audio quality activities in complex and multidisciplinary system that includes various SW/FW/HW and Wireless components
- Communicating with BT ecosystem partners and customers to define audio quality targets and feature set
- Working closely with VLSI/FW/Driver design teams
- Interacting with the platform architects and performance tuning teams on various platforms and form factors
- Supporting Bluetooth system definition activities for a new generation of high-performance multi-comm SoC solutions targeted at various segments of the PC Client market
- Potentially participating in BT SIG activities while influencing Intel position in the SIG
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Analytical skills
- High familiarity with wireless protocol system analyzers

Qualifications
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in Systems Architecture
- 5+ years experience in Audio and voice systems
- 5+ years of experience with the following: Writing detailed specifications, Perform architecture and design analysis and modeling
Preferred Qualifications - Experience of digital voice and audio signal processing techniques (Noise-reduction, echo-cancellation, beamforming, de-reverberation, synchronization, binaural processing, spatial audio)
- Wireless systems design and protocol expertise
- Experience with voice-coder standards in communication systems (LC3, LPC, jitter-buffer-management, packet-loss-concealment), and voice quality measures (S/N/G-MOS and POLQA)
