As the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Lead you will act as strategic technology partner to the General Manager and local Management Team you will be directing the BTS investment strategy to ensure it is aligned with business priorities and embedded across the business. You will lead, influence, and evolve the BTS operating model to maximize business outcomes and identify opportunities for delivering innovative technical and digital capabilities Your role at AbbVie Based at AbbVie’s office in Hoofddorp, you will be responsible for ensuring that BTS capabilities are delivered in a reliable, sustainable, cost efficient and secure manner. As a BTS Lead you will establish active relationships with key business stakeholders to act as a trusted advisor about the application of technology within their units and across the affiliate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Direct the design and implementation of the affiliate BTS operating model, organizational structure, and governance process Use influencing and negotiation skills to create synergies across the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals Develop and control the Affiliate’s BTS budget ensuring the technology investment is consistent with the affiliates overall strategic objectives and is within plan Participate and partner with the business leadership team to drive culture change in support of digital business transformation Enhance BTS’s capabilities by leveraging resources, both internally and externally Direct the development of the BTS sourcing strategy and provides executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management for affiliate level engaged vendors Your new workplace is our modern attractive office and a wonderful place to be, with everything you need at your disposal. More specifically, we ask the following of you: 10 years or more of experience in either business areas or within BTS Three to five years of leadership responsibilities Preferably three or more years of experience in related, industry-leading, large, cross-functional teams or enterprise-wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts Demonstrated experience in strategy and strategic planning, organization design and development.
