Navy FAB is looking for a young and enthusiastic developer that has a passion for eCommerce business to join our team in Hong Kong due to rapid expansion. The role will see you working on a series of greenfield projects related to mobile/web applications. The candidate will be considered as a high-achiever to contribute to the team in developing and designing backend applications to support eCommerce technology demands. This position is also required to oversee projects/products from conception to final outcome, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you may be responsible for: 

- Designing and implementing service oriented architecture (Microservices) for our market-proven product in different platforms (website / mobile app); 

- Implementing the API integrations with different systems to support Shopify functionalities; 

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues of clients;

- Conduct technology feasibility research and propose a cost-effective technology solution.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor degree holders in Computer Science or other related disciplines; Fresh graduates are also welcome;

- Experience in eCommerce, Payment and Logistics will be a plus;

- 1 year or above with hands-on experience on at least one of the programming languages like Node.js, Golang, PHP, Python;

- Solid programming skill, knowledge of algorithm and data structure;

- Good understanding of distributed web application and system design; 

- Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Google Cloud, Docker or Kubernetes is a plus;

- Any experience on Shopify and Magento is a big plus;

- Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested code, excellent object-oriented development skills;

- Able to work independently and also contribute to the problem-solving part in a team context;

- Good verbal language skills in Chinese and English.

Salary: 17,000-23,000/month, depends on availability and skillset 

Expected Commencement Date/Period: As early as 1 April 2020. The candidate is expected to work 9:30-6:30 pm, 5 days a week.
