Job Description
Balboa City School International (BCS) a division of the Aston Educational Group requires an International Program Director for it dual diploma program in China.
As the International Program Director you will lead the Balboa City School team to ensure the quality education standards are met.
This an exciting and challenging position with the main responsibilities being to create appropriate curriculum to meet the unique needs of the BCS Dual Diploma students and BCS International program students, implement an effective curriculum, provide teachers with educational support and provide valuable professional development and training for teachers.
Focus on different ways to improve learning opportunities for students through research, development and testing of new curriculum and teaching methods, selecting appropriate textbooks and materials for use in the classroom.
Recruiting training and evaluating teachers and administrators and advising them on innovative ideas that will enhance teaching.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Successful candidates will need to have a positive attitude and have the desire and ability to provide excellent customer service.
Have a BA, TEFL, administrative and supervisory experience, teacher training, curriculum development, experience in China and abroad of high school teaching and an understanding of college admissions, knowledge of SATs, TOEFL and a proven record of flexibility and creative decision making.
You will need to have a strong attention to detail be able to prioritize and act when faced with multiple demands and be able to handle last minute changes while showing empathy and care for others.
Salary is commensurate with experience and there is a performance bonus also included in the compensation package.
