What you will be doing:

• Ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the day-to-day operations of the Banquet department by monitoring and organizing the duty assignments, conducting daily briefings, and calling in staff upon authorization.
• Assisting in the management and coordination of all conference programs including, arrival, and departure, assuring proper meeting room set-ups, flips and meal functions.
• Cultivating excellent guest service through the proactive interaction and on-going communication with the meeting planners and guests, including meeting set-up, meal requirements, timelines, temperature control and upselling hotel services.
• Assisting management team in administration of Banquet Department, daily reporting on events, accurate billing and other required paperwork.
• Providing guidance, and mentorship for all colleagues to enhance colleague morale.

Your experience and skills include:

• Strong knowledge in a variety of food and beverage settings
• Proven experience in managing an efficient business operation
• Possess strong administrative skills and knowledge of technology

Physical Requirements Include:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
