Hotel Overview
Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a1,200 square meter ballroom.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Assist and offering coffee and tea in coffee break
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Pick up requisitions (linen, silver ware, stationeries).
• Pick up coffee break item from kitchen.
• Set up and refresh of buffet station and conference rooms as per Fairmont standards.
• Breakdown of buffets and proper storage of buffet props.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
• Food and Beverage Service during lunches, dinners and receptions applying different service styles.

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous Banquet service experience an asset
• Previous point of sale system and Opera system experience an asset, but not required
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
