Job Description
Eaton’s is currently seeking a Basket Fabrication/Cutter-Welder to join our team. This position is based at our Fitzgerald, GA location. Competitive rates starting at $17/hr. Applicant must be able to do the following: Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components Meet quality and productivity objectives and targets for department Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Follow all established job procedures Adhere to Eaton, Safety, Environmental and Ethical policies and procedures Work with limited supervision Will rotate shifts and work overtime as required Candidate must be a team player and willing to perform other tasks as required This is a smoke free facility Qualifications Experience: Previous metal fabrication and welding experience preferred High School Diploma / GED required.
