Penquis Family Enrichment Services is currently seeking individuals to provide in-home and community support to children and young adults between the ages of 3 and 20. These are medically necessary services designed to help children and young adults with developmental or functional delays to become as independent as possible in their home and community. The statewide waitlist has literally hundreds of children waiting for these services but there is currently an extreme shortage of people working in this field throughout the state (some children have been waiting for more than a year for agencies to find a provider).

Areas of need include: Bangor, Brewer, Brownville, Cambridge, Clifton, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Ellsworth, Greenville, Guilford, Hermon, Hudson, Medway, Milford, Millinocket, Milo, Old Town, Orneville, Orono, Orrington, Ripley, Sangerville, Skowhegan, and Waterville.

We currently have positions available for as few as 6 hours per week to as many as 15 hours per week. Shifts are 3 to 5 hours long depending on the needs of the child and typically occur between 3:00pm and 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Tell us your availability and we can find a child/family whose needs match with your schedule.

Newly increased wage12.00/hr. depending on education and experience as well as mileage reimbursement. Must have HS diploma or equivalent, Valid ME driver license in good standing & reliable, insured transportation. Paid training-Credentials are State and nationally certified, Competitive wages and flexible hours.
