Beijing, Art teacher position is available, Starting in Aug,2024

Job Description:

1. Teach Primary/Secondary School Students a variety of different areas of focus within the Art Classes.
2. Responsible for the planning and designing of the lessons, the delivery of the lessons, providing feedback on homework and assignments, designing assessments, and giving grades.
3. Demonstrate methods that support the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of children.
4. Organizing learning material and resources; designing, creating and developing lesson plans to implement in classes.
5. Ability to communicate well with students, colleagues and parents, towards building a positive school environment.
6. Assisting students in all activities throughout the day (e.g. mealtime, outdoor activities, single subject classes, etc.). Maintaining the safety and security of students throughout the day.
7. Observing, assessing, and reporting on the progresses of the students; filing documentation of students' learning outcome and progresses.
8. Experience with planning, assessment and reporting to parents.
9. Openness and willingness to embrace cultural differences and work collaboratively in a
Chinese bilingual setting.
10. Collaborate with Chinese English teachers to prepare collaborative lessons and design
activities in communicative ways.
11. Familiarity with various teaching resources and integrating curriculum areas to engage little
learners.
12. Attend school events, parent meetings and professional development as scheduled.
13. Following and complying with teaching standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Art or related majors where applicable.
2. Teaching Certificate, PGCE, CELTA, and DELTA preferred.
3. More than two years Art teaching experiences preferred.
4. Native English speaker preferred.
5. Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
6. The ability to obtain a clear background check.
7. Eager to learn and grow continuously.
General Compensation and Benefits Package
