POSITION: Substitute Teacher/Afterschool Activity (ASA) Teacher

Job Description
This Substitute Teacher/ASA Teacher position will take on a variety of teaching assignments,
including on-call substitute teaching, after-school remedial classes, and weekend English courses.
This is a flexible and dynamic role, ideal for candidates who are passionate about education,
excel in communication, and can adapt to different teaching environments. The Substitute
Teacher/ASA Teacher will be responsible for the following three types of classes:
On-Call Substitute Teaching
• Temporarily cover English classes for absent teachers during regular school hours.
• Deliver lessons according to the original teaching plan, ensuring classroom order
and teaching quality.
After-School Class
• Conduct English remedial classes for students after school on campus and on-line.
• Design and deliver lessons based on the school’s curriculum, tailored to students’
English proficiency levels.
Weekend English Class
• Teach weekend English classes using complete teaching materials and lesson plans
provided by the school.
• Ensure classroom engagement and student participation to help students improve
their English skills.
Winter&Summer Camp
• Teach English classes in Camp activities using complete teaching materials and
lesson plans provided by the school.
Working Hours:
1) On-Call Substitute Teaching: Maximum 2 working days per week, 8 working days per month
2) After-School Class: 3:45pm to 4:45pm per day
3) On-line class: 6pm to 7:30pm per day
Total 1)+2)+3)= three working days
4) Weekend English Classes: 08:30am to 4:30pm, Saturday and Sunday
5) Total 5 weeks during winter holiday and summer holiday as time in various campus
Qualifications & Requirements
• Native English speaker
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in education is required
• Minimum of three-year work experience in teaching (education industry preferred)
• Familiarity with teaching methods for different age groups and the ability to adapt teaching
strategies flexibly.
• Ability to adjust lesson plans flexibly based on teaching needs.
• Interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
• Creativity, Problem Solver, Thinking and Planning Ahead
• MSOffice and Internet browsing skills are a must as well as accurate and efficient ability
