Job Description
SS Social Studies teacher is expected to:
 Deliver lessons to students through a variety of teaching methods, Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles
 Prepare and implement lessons that encourage and foster proficient oral and written expression, critical thinking, applications, and ethics
 Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices
 Assign homework, write tests and essays
 Inspire the curiosity of student
 Prepare tests to evaluate students’ progress, assess students’ abilities, strengths and weaknesses Creates an environment of mutual respect and understanding, manages student behavior
 Attend parent conferences
 Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school events
 Promote and enhance the vision and values

Qualifications
· Wide-ranging intellectual and educational interests and ability to commit to a creative, integrated curriculum
· Knowledge of age appropriate curriculum, lesson planning requirements and
behavioral management strategies.
· Ability to tie in all areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum to support student
learning.
· And an ability to care for our students, and be a team player who can solve problems in a positive and collaborative manner.
· Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in relevant working experiences preferred.
· Have higher comprehensive quality and strain capacity.
· Excellent team player and communicator.
