Benefits Specialist

 

Location: Anywhere in US. Remote work available.            

 

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a Benefits Specialist who will be a key member of our Human Resources (HR) team. This position will provide a unique opportunity for a professional looking for a new challenge.  You will be responsible for supporting our Benefits function in the US with design, execution, reporting, and auditing of benefits practices and policies for our 1,300+ colleagues in the US.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Thorough working knowledge of the operation and administration of all US benefit programs, including: 401(k), Medical, Rx, HSA, Dental, Life, Disability, FSA, Education Assistance, EAP, Voluntary Benefits, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with government requirements, including: ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, OSHA, and PPACA
  • Support Benefits function with the ongoing development and design of corporate benefit programs in line with the Company’s overall Talent Management strategy
  • Collaborate with HR Operations to enhance understanding of benefits programs and policies
  • Identify trends in the marketplace and make recommendations to ensure that benefit plans are current and competitive
  • Perform benefit program comparative analysis and integration during acquisitions
  • Develop meaningful communications for all benefit programs to increase colleague understanding and appreciation
  • Assist with special projects as needed

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Mathematics preferred, or related experience
  • 1 - 4 years of Benefits related experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills appropriate for working with colleagues at all levels
  • Familiarity with Talent Management system and Benefits Administration systems a plus
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel
