Job Description

As a Calculation Engineer you will ensure that the pressure vessels are dimensioned sufficient according to all common standards and Codes, and that the created calculation documents and the included approaches are discussed with customers and third parties. You will work within our world class Engineering Team and will engage with Calculation Engineers worldwide. Your key deliverables: Performs pre-Sales calculations and creates drafts for Sales quotation work Analyses, manage and approves external CFD and FEM Calculations. Coordinate Design and/or Material changes, resulted from the calculation, with Design Department, SCM, Third parties and End Users Creation of calculation documents Development of technical solutions to meet specific customer requirements Qualifications Are you? Required: Engineering degree in mechanical, mechatronics, chemical or similar engineering (master preferred). Ability to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor in cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of new products. Must be a creative thinker and willing to work closely with other business functions Must have strong motivation and hands-on mentality Fluent level of English and German Desired: work experience with pressure vessel codes (AD-2000, EN-13445 and ASME) and design Comfortable in presenting technical topics Computer engineering skills (CAD/CFD/FEA, etc.) Experience with Tools like Mathcad, PV-Elite, DIMy Then we want to hear about you!
