Key Responsibility

Assist and support LOC in network execution and optimization in the port as assigned to.

Manage and drive port operations efficiency in terms of berth productivity, husbandry performance, schedule reliability and cost leadership.

Conduct daily operations including vessel scheduling, terminal resource allocation and optimization, berthing line-up and vessel formalities etc.

Support ships to fulfil planned port activities including bunkering, sludge operations, medical services, crew change, repair and provision etc.

Ensure company procedures and guidelines are effectively communicated and implemented.

Essential job tasks

Execute Marine Planning tasks in assigned FEA ports:

• Plan and optimize daily berthing programme taking vessel scheduling, resource allocation and operations efficiency into good consideration

• Communicate vessel schedule with ships
• Drive initiatives to reduce port expense and other cost savings
• Plan coastal schedule for bunker efficiency

• Identify berth clashes, propose short term solutions, and execute as per agreement/SOP
• Plan and execute contingencies in coordination with other functions to protect safety, low cost, schedule reliability and operation efficiency
• Coordinate holidays plans with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate casualty and crisis management involving vessels
• Attend queries of vessels regarding schedules/ performance and port operations
• Manage vessel husbandry issues through 3rd party agents
• Support the process improvement initiatives

person with a sense of urgency and result orientation, who can communicate and drive the necessary changes within his/ her organisation as well as persuade the external stakeholders into the proper course of action.
