The Bid and Proposals Manager is responsible for bid management and proposal development of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) project pursuits within the Airport Logistics Business. The ideal candidate should have a strong, working knowledge and experience within the baggage handling, automated material handling or industrial construction markets. Salary: 110-130k with $5000 Sign On Bonus Work Location: Hybrid position based out of Irving, Texas Responsibilities: Management of Bid and Proposal Process for large BHS construction programs. Coordination of internal bid approval and final client proposal creation. Work closely with sales team to develop bid strategies and help manage resources to complete each bid on time. Review plans and specifications to convey project requirements, facilitate document reviews and assist with preliminary budget exercises. Align sales, engineering, operations, finance and senior management to effectively progress bids from receipt to internal approval onto final client delivery. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge. Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have good interpersonal skills - will require coordinating all departments in an effort to provide quality estimates in short time frames. Ability to multitask as the position will require working on multiple bid efforts at a time. Travel up to 25%. BHS/Material Handling/Industrial Construction bidding experience (preferred). Design/Build Experience (preferred). M/WBE or DBE construction requirements expertise (preferred). Qualifications: BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4+ years of experience in related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge.
