Datacenter Business Innovation Office (DBIO) is looking for an experienced, passioned Data Analytics systems Java software engineer to join our team.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SW system development in domains of Data Analytics and Database Management Systems (DBMS). He/She will have curiosity and hunger to learn and experiment with new technologies, build proof-of-concept and introduce innovative products to the market.

What you will be doing?

You will work on heterogenous compute systems designed for Big-Data analytics (Data Warehouse) acceleration by integrating cutting edge software with innovative Hardware accelerators.
You will work on challenges such as optimizing complex execution flows to achieve Best In Class unprecedented performance and efficiency levels.
You will collaborate with other world-class engineers to understand and enable new technologies around Heterogenous Computing, Processing in Memory (PIM), Graph Compiler optimizers etc
You will work together with customer and partner teams to optimize joint solutions.
You will be a member of a team that brings innovations to areas like datacenter compossible infrastructure, the DBMS market, datacenter orchestration and management, and influencing future hardware platforms and software frameworks.

Qualifications

Computer Science or Electrical Engineering B.A/B.Sc. degree
Software development and engineering experience of 5+ years with a proven track record
Proven experience in software development, including architecture and systems design
Advanced Java and C++ programming skills
Advantages:

Knowledge of data analytics software such as Spark, Presto, Dremio, etc.
Experience in Scala, Ocamel or other JVM technologies
Vast experience in software architecture definition
Work on developing/optimizing of database systems.
Performance analysis background.
C/C++ and System level programming
