This is a role well suited to a Biochemist 2, you will be responsible for: • Investigating technical issues associated with formulation and testing of immunoassay reagents and testing components. • Managing projects throughout the project life cycle • Coordinating with multiple departments and Siemens Healthineers sites in support of product design and process changes • Coordinating and carrying out root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) • Create and participate in the design of experiments (DOE) as part of troubleshooting manufacturing issues and validation/verification activities • Writing compliance documentation associated with technical investigations, data analyses, and experimental conclusions • Working in the laboratory running Atellica, Centaur, and CP instrumentation with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin • Leading projects related to raw material qualification and vendor sourcing • Coach junior members as a Subject Matter Expert in the Reproductive and Anemia portfolio • Serve as a Risk Coach This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials. Required skills to have for the success of this role • BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry • 6 + years job related experience • Experience leading CAPA investigations and implementations • Experience leading change projects related to assays and alternative supply chain • Experience in executing project Risk Assessment • Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills • Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
