Biosimilar Account Manager (BAM) –North West England

Amgen Biosimilar team are looking for an experienced Biosimilar Account Manager to maximise access in key accounts across North West England, including Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cumbria and Cheshire.

This Biosimilar Account Manager role will be part of a cross-functional team and will report to the National Sales Manager, Biosimilar Division, UK.

Biosimilar Account Manager role overview:

The Biosimilar Business has been newly created in Europe.

This is a great opportunity to promote a pipeline of Biosimilars across a number of therapy areas and be part of the new Biosimilars Business Unit for UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize access of our Biosimilars portfolio in key accounts
  • Identify local needs and potential partnerships
  • Ensure guideline optimization for Amgen Biosimilars
  • Achieve net sales objectives in hospital accounts across the region
  • Work with MDT to promote Amgevita across Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Dermatology departments
  • Work alongside Regional Procurement and Pharmacy to introduce biosimilar transitions across the regions

Qualifications and required experience:

  • University Degree or strong experience/seniority in the industry
  • Scientific background preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as Key Account Manager in Hospitals on hospital products
  • Experience in negotiation and conditions with pharmacists and other decision makers
  • Demonstrated track record of introduction of new products in Hospitals
  • Demonstrated track record of working with objectives and achieving goals
  • History of working in complex and cross-functional teams

Location: This is a field-based role covering North West England, ideally located in Merseyside or Greater Manchester areas, but will require coverage of all areas.
