The Body & Paint Instructor/Developer facilitates, develops, delivers and maintains BMW Group Technical, E-Learning and Non-technical courses within the courses offered using BMW Group training standards to Dealer Technicians, STEP students, industry partners.

Development responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop and ensure training courses address all levels of customers in the use of company products/services
• Designs course outlines, gathers supporting technical documentation and develop course work and trainer notes,
• Interfaces with curriculum development team and peers to develop specifications for course content
• Evaluates and provides feedback on the effectiveness of training curriculum delivered
• Report and redevelop changes due to diagnostic updates ISPi
   

Instructional duties to include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare Training materials and daily instructional preparations (including body shells, vehicles, and training assets)
• Plan and direct classroom training electronic learning multimedia programs and other computer aided instructional technologies
• Facilitate conferences and workshops
• Continually enhance technical instructional delivery, presentation skills, technical expert knowledge with BMW Group vehicle systems and diagnostic technology

Ensure BMW Group training facilities standards:

• Classroom/workshop are maintained to a high level with BMW standards.
• All necessary tools, equipment, vehicles, classroom and workshops are in working order and can safely be used to train students as per Instructor Policies and Procedure manual
• Maintains quality of training provision by following and implementing required Training standards.

Minimum Requirements

• _{Associates degree in automotive/Collision technology, and/or post-secondary automotive/collision certificate or 5 years as a BMW Master Body and Paint technician.}
• _{5+ years as a collision repair technician specializing in paintless dent repair, refinishing and structural repairs of aluminum and steel}
• _{Competency with the following:}
  • _{Microsoft  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Communicator}
  • _{InfoNet/DealerNet applications.}
  • _{BMW Group diagnostic equipment & programs including but not limited to; ISTA, ISTA/D, TSARA.}
