The Control and Process Techniques Department has four key functions. Maintenance planning, strategy and steering for the entire Painted Body process chain. Definition of planned maintenance schedules to achieve the Technical Availability target. Planning of major repair projects within the four Painted Body technologies (Press, Subs, BIW, Paint). Controls planning – providing solutions for all process technology issues across painted body, ensuring adherence to safety requirements and creating innovative solutions for optimisation of the process chain. Robot specialists – providing the strategy for maintenance of the robots within Painted Body, technical support where required as well as training and offline refurbishment of robot related assets

What awaits you?


• Support BIW maintenance planning team with evaluation of BIW (Sw/Ox) equipment for 2nd model life refurbishment.
• Identify through analysis which items require replacement, prioritise the activities and document the plan.
• Support the development of the project scope and detailed planning for project realisation.
• Support the team with the roll out actions throughout 2020 and 2021

• Studying towards a 2:1 Bachelor degree – preferable in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
• Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
• An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
