POSITION: Branch Manager

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. P & L monitoring:

• Be responsible for profit & loss of responsible area;
• Optimize of the resource to meet turnover and volume target;
• Monitor and control the cost to a reasonable level

2. Operation management:

• Ensure operations process smoothness and efficiency;
• Improve quality of customer service to ensure continued growth by managing the operation's functions efficiently and effectively
• Manage, optimize and drive the team for higher quality and greater productivity
• Maintain a good relationship with local airline, carriers, service providers and Government

3. Business development:

• Work closely with BD team to drive the business development in the area
• Aware of trends and development in the industry for corresponding change and adjustment in internal management / strategy;
• Collect and present updated market information to the Management regularly

4. Daily management and staff development:

• Responsible for the overall performance of responsible area and ensure responsible area have achieved the targets as set;
• Effectively manage headcount
• Plan and manage the resources for projects, and drive the resources to be fully occupied
• Ensure compliance with government and Group’s policy
• Ensure the efficient internal communications with superior and employee
• Perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the management.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Solid knowledge on air & ocean freight
• Good command of English (both spoken & written) and PC skills
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, independent
• Demonstrated ability to develop influential customer relationship, business plans, presentation and proposals.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree or above, major in logistics or maritime related field is preferred
• At least 10 years’ experience in forwarder/logistics industry, with at least 4 years in managerial position
