Job Overview:


The general purpose of this position is to own the Freightliner brand social media strategy, support execution of marketing communications strategies, support implementation of content marketing strategies and content management for the Freightliner on-highway and vocational product portfolio


Responsibilities:

- Support management and implementation of Freightliner brand content and collateral on external digital platforms, such as: Freightliner.com, SmartSource app, Freightliner.com, Marketo campaigns, etc.
- Collaborate with Freightliner Brand Team and other brand managers on developing and implementing an effective content marketing strategy
- Collaborate with digital team to support overall website goals and help communicate trends/recommendations to Freightliner Brand Team
- Coordinate with on-highway and vocational product teams to ensure product accuracy
- Manage Freightliner brand content and collateral on internal digital platforms, such as: DASH, DAISI, FACT, Freightliner Sales Tool, etc.
- Coordinate with on-highway and vocational product teams to ensure product accuracy
- Coordinate with Freightliner Brand Team to adhere to marketing communications goals
- Own Freightliner social media strategy and implementation
- Manage content calendar, content pillars, campaigns, competitive listening, reporting, etc.
- Manage external digital agency team
- Collaborate with Freightliner Brand Team and other brand managers for messaging/branding alignment and gathering social media marketing content
- Ensure all social media is compliant with Daimler policies
- Coordinate with on-highway and vocational product team to ensure product accuracy
- Support Freightliner Brand Team with marketing communications projects and content creation
- Manage communication of marketing efforts and campaigns internally, facilities branding needs, and event marketing support
- Assist with ad hoc marketing projects as needed

Required Qualifications: 
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Strong organizational and project management, interpersonal and presentation skills required.
- Ability to change direction and priorities in a fast paced environment is required.
- Ongoing ability to independently increase technical skills and business knowledge is required.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required to execute job responsibilities.
- An attached resume is required.

Preferred Qualifications:  
- Experience in sales, training, communications or marketing functions is preferred.
- Experience interacting with truck dealers and/or customers preferred.
