The Role: The Brand Communications Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for Popsockets ensuring its branding and messages are consistent.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing an integrated communications strategy for Popsockets incorporating PR, Marketing and Online for APAC Region
  • Oversee the Regional PR agency, in addition to individual PR agency in each country in APAC.
  • Manages Social Media and Digital campaigns for the APAC region.
  • Implementing communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the brand.
  • Analyzing the market trends and organizing focus group sessions for Popsockets on its brand awareness and products
  • Developing relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.
  • Writing press releases for local and regional media.
  • Adapting US Global press releases for international syndication ensuring stories translate to differing international markets.
  • Monitoring press stories relating to the company and its brand and maximising opportunities for positive PR and playing down any negative PR.
  • Collating and analysing current communications and messages and ensuring consistency.
  • Developing and leading the company's internal communication strategy across the APAC region.
  • Communicating brand to internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the annual communications budget and ensuring its use is fully maximized.
Requirement:
  • Previous experience as a Brand communications manager with at least 5 years experience for a similar organisation would be a strong advantage.
  • Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications and presentation skills are essential.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and short lead time to complete projects.
  • Bachelor's degree; a relevant Masters degree would also be an advantage.
  • A proven ability to lead communications strategies in other organisations.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, both Mandarin and Cantonese. Japanese or Korean is a plus.
