The Oncology Brand Lead for Prostate Cancer will set the vision and will lead the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plan for the assigned oncology product portfolio based on a thorough market understanding and insights collection across all the cross functional team involving commercial, medical, access, and sales teams.
With strong leadership skills, the OBL will lead the sales planning process together with the cross functional team and will deliver goals setting in each market based on a strong understanding of his/her therapeutic area and local market needs/opportunities.
The OBL will also be responsible for budget planning and will ensure investment decisions based on a robust identification of the drivers and barriers of its products/therapeutic area in the assigned markets and will ensure a timely, high quality and flawless execution of the tactical plan. At the same time, the OBL will contribute by defining plans which includes value proposition, segmentation and targeting, messaging, selling tools, operations and sales training.
To ensure brand success, the OBL will be the oncology subject matter expert. This entails being responsible to monitor the competitive landscape and will be accountable for commercial competitiveness of its product portfolio and pipeline through a continuous analysis of marketing and sales information to provide timely recommendation for corrective measures.
The OBL will build and cultivate relationships with HCPs and other stakeholders/influencers across the region.
The OBL will provide Marketing leadership and drive innovation for the Brand(s) throughout its lifecycle and will oversee brand success that truly delivers for patients, healthcare providers and AZ.
Experience:
- +4 years Pharmaceutical Marketing experience
- Launch Experience of high cost products.
- In depth understanding of the Oncology patient experience from diagnosis to treatment initiation.
- Experience of working cross-functionally is essential
- Understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement programme and processes
- Demonstrable Strategic thinking and strong execution.
- Clear evidence of innovation leading to success.
- Strong focus on effective decision making and results oriented.
- Ability to deliver the science behind the products and strong competitive mindset.
- English is mandatory
Desirable:
- Appreciation of local healthcare system, pricing and reimbursement processes in Central America and the Caribbean region.
- Experience in Prostate Cancer and precision medicine is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical sales representative experience preferred
- Life-science background is preferred
