We have an opportunity for a Brand Manager role in Hematology who will be responsible for Calquence.
The Brand Manager plays a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. (S)he will be the brand owner of planning and executing the external strategic plan with key customers for our product. This position will report directly into the Franchise Lead IO & Hema and will work in close partnership with cross functional team including field sales, medical and other functions to ensure we have a strong market presence.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Understands and articulates the Hematology patient’s perspective from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. Uses this and marketplace insight to deliver effective and competitive Strategic and Tactical Marketing plan(s)
- Leads the creation of innovative and highly effective Strategic brand plans for the Brand, identifies and maximizes new growth opportunities.
- Help lead pre-launch planning and annual operational planning by shaping the tactical plan and budget required to achieve the brand’s stated objectives.
- Implements a truly cross-function account planning and customer engagement strategy for the Brand and regularly seeks cross-functional feedback to ensure it is functioning effectively and explore new and innovative approaches
- Oversees the budget management for the Brand
- Agrees and delivers upon Growth, Sales and Operational; metrics, measurements and targets for the Brand
The successful candidate profile should:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in scientific or business discipline, MBA preferable
- 3+ years of strong marketing background in a large/mid-sized pharmaceutical market
- Experience in Hematology products
- Experience of working within cross-functional business units
- Understanding of Account Planning and Customer
- Enterprise mindset and focus; strong process skills and ability to work in an organization with cross-functional teams
- Effective stakeholder and relationship management experience; able to interact with multiple levels within and outside of AZ
- Fluent in Greek and English
