Intel's Product Brand Strategy and Naming team is seeking a Brand Strategist - Mergers and Acquisitions to support brand strategy for Intel's mergers and acquisitions. You will work with stakeholders across Intel's technical business units, mergers and acquisitions, Intel Capital, Intel Labs, and Intel Ignite to strategically integrate a variety of brands into Intel's brand architecture. You will have the opportunity to not only influence and guide brand decisions for the acquisition of established brands, but also to help define and establish new brands for emerging products, technologies, and programs.

Responsibilities include:
Act as the primary point of contact for mergers and acquisitions activities as it relates to branding and naming
Drive strategic decisions around brand strategy for mergers and acquisitions and new product development
Lead development, validation, and communication of long-term brand value propositions for acquired brands
Guide the incorporation of acquired brands into the Intel brand portfolio
Build relationships with the larger mergers and acquisitions team, strategic planning, business unit and product marketing to educate and influence on brand strategy
Contribute to creative development on naming, brand architecture, nomenclature, and positioning projects
Educate and influence marketing, strategic planning, and business units on implications of long-term brand strategy and upcoming product roadmaps
Bring significant long term brand decisions to senior management marketing forums for ratification/feedback
Establish a strong link between Intel's product brands and the Intel corporate brand
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Clear understanding of the strategic nature of branding and naming
Proven track record of sound brand decisions that further strategic goals
Ability to drive strategic thinking around new and evolving product brands
Proven ability to influence creative strategy and visual identity systems
Must be comfortable working with executive level stakeholders
Demonstrated experience and success in working in multi-faceted, cross-functional teams
Strong communication (verbal, written) and organizational skills
Works equally well in teams and independently
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, engineering or related
7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, brand strategy, or brand naming, with at least 4 years in tech
5+ years of mergers and acquisitions experience guiding the incorporation of acquired brands into the overall brand architecture
3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to Executive level stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred, but not required
