Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing capabilities alongside Brand Management, such as and not limited to annual marketing and launch plans, based on strong consumer understanding, market trends, professional insights and business opportunities;
  • Oversee the production of all advertisement and communication channels (i.e. print, online, social media) and promotional activities such as road shops, exhibitions and collaterals; work with third party partners/ creative and/or PR agencies for development of digital or communication collaterals , tie-ups, events, sponsorship or launches;
  • Manage and track brand A&P budget for above the line, below the line activities; monitor the effectiveness of each marketing campaign/implementation/promotion through developing key  measurements on the results and returns of the activities for continuous improvements;
  • Part of the integral task force in creating roadmap, timelines and establishing project milestones for product development activities;
  • Monitoring of product pricing across the markets; deriving initiatives to meet pricing competitiveness and profitability;
  • Working closely with Sales team in monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions, to develop customer programs that will help showcase and differentiate our brand/product positioning within the market;
  • Track brand health and performance through research (i.e. internal or external), sales data and reports; translate analysis and findings into strategic needs or make recommendation for corrective action plans;
  • Conduct analysis on competitor and customer insights, consumer markets, monitoring trends and identifying potential areas to focus and invest based on consumer/market needs and spending habits.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or Marketing related discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years or more experience in brand management with a track record in brand activation and/or product portfolio management;
  • Hands on commercial experience; able to work with big data to determine and develop brand-related activities/programs;
  • Prior work experience and exposure to either China or Japan market will be highly advantageous;
  • Passion and thrive in a challenging, start-up environment with an innovative, flexible and ‘builder’ mindset;
  • Able to work and influence cross-functionally with sales and design team to develop specific plans or activities to address different challenges at brand/customer levels;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in Mandarin and Japanese; Intermediate English is required;
  • Fluency in Word Processing Software (Google Docs, MS Office); and Social Media APPs and platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Wechat, 小紅書)
  • Must be able to work across four focus countries - Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Shanghai; willing to travel.
