To achieve our ambition, we are seeking a Brand Manager within CVRM with placement in Finland. The role as Brand Manager at AstraZeneca gives you a great opportunity to develop yourself further and advance your career.
What you’ll do
This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the possibility to shape success for you, your development and for the business. You will be involved in our current and future product portfolio, with new launches and label extensions with the potential to impact patients´ lives.
As a Brand Manager, you will build on deep customer and patient insights within your assigned brand(s) to ensure a patient centric approach. Based on this knowledge, you develop and execute brand strategy plans, in strong collaboration with the cross-functional team.
In this role you will be responsible for local marketing and promotional brand activities including launch planning and preparation as well as having responsibility for patient organization and regional stakeholder relationship management. You will work with the omnichannel activities and tactics nationally to support implementation of the brand strategy.
You will contribute to cross-functional Franchise Team work by providing input to franchise and brand strategy development as well as long-term planning.
You will work in close collaboration with another CVRM Brand Manager and the whole cross-functional team.
Other responsibilities include:
- Utilize global assets and campaigns to develop localized campaigns and materials
- Manage the local production agencies and ensure local sign off of all materials
- Work in close co-operation with sales team to support therapy area business objectives
- Responsible for training sales team on marketing strategy and materials
- Develop ideas in co-operation with customers and executes customer facing projects that add value to patient care and improve treatment pathways
- Ensure tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements as well as internal standards
Essential for the role
- Demonstrated pharma marketing experience with good knowledge in market ethical rules
- A strong patient-centric mindset with a sense for commercial innovation
- Suggest new ways of working, as the “new normal” has further increased our ambition to be a leading & innovative partner to health care
- Good strategic, analytical and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience with different marketing and digital channels (omnichannel)
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork capabilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge in English language
- Master´s Degree (desired) or equivalent, e.g. in Marketing
In order to succeed in this role you have
- Prior therapy area experience (desired)
- Excellent interpersonal capabilities in building long-lasting relationships and networks
- Good business sense/strategic mindset
- Proactive and solution oriented approach on work
- Experience of building strong strategic- & tactical plans
- A strong sense for planning, structure, prioritization and execution
