Mars is looking for Brand Manager responsible for preparing and executing a Bite Size Brands strategy. This role will take responsibility for translating a portfolio strategy to channel and customer plans. This role assures executing customer activations for a specific channel/customer which brings our brands to life instore, drives optimal physical availability, engages the shopper and drives conversion.
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Individually responsible for portfolio and brands strategies in local market in line with global and regional pipeline, ensuring outstanding results.
- Develop and execute the Activity Plan which delivers the short and long term brand portfolio aspirations
- Ensure activation plans and instore communications are aligned to brand strategy and guidelines,
- Ensure activity plans are aligned across Sales and Category Team and brought into the S&OP+ process where appropriate ensuring activity trade-offs are made where appropriate to meet wider business objectives.
- Individually responsible for execution of activities across the unit, from idea generation to execution, driving post launch reviews are conduced and insights are used to continuously improve future plans.
- Drive effectiveness and efficiency of spends to ensure optimal and mutual ROI for the retailer and Mars and alignment to portfolio aspirations
- Deliver Key business indicators base on specific brand objectives, including P&L and penetration targets.
- Collect and analyse segment, consumer and brand data to support creation and development of local market activity calendar.
- Recommend price architecture to SRM
- Translate brand plans into channel and customer activity plans. Deliver an annual activation plan across all channels/customers.
What are we looking for?
- Business university graduate
- Strong customer and marketing experience that includes selling, negotiating, leveraging insights, proven ability to understand and translate brand strategies into engaging customer strategies that are mutually beneficial for company and customer.
- Ability to assess needs, propose mutually beneficial solutions, overcome objections, demonstrate resilience with a positive & confident mind-set and close to maximize mutual value.
- Excellent ability to effectively develop and execute projects
- Proven ability to assess the relative importance of activities and assignments, determine necessary sequence of activities and adjust them where appropriate and effective respond and resolve competing demands. 4+
- Business acumen with a good understanding and application of the sales cycle, innovation processes and broader business implications to making judgments and recommendations for action.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills and experience of applying a wide range of analytics that drive insights and actions for complex customers and a variety of business situations.
- Proven ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders in a cross functional environment.
- Able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, changing environment with a can do attitude.
- Fluent English
