Main Responsibilities:


1.Innovation

  • Formulate and sharp Maestro baseline innovation strategy and portfolio based on consumer insights and market trends, to support overall brand growth
  • Fully responsible for delivery of the NPD of the Baseline, both timing and quality, including concept development, claiming mining, margin & cost review and control, product registration related issues, and etc.
  • Able to reflect risk and propose options / solutions to manage the situation


2.Business Plan

  • Develop business development plan for Maestro Baseline by addressing growth opportunities or tackle the business challenge based on market intelligence, business status and channel mix
  • Support to work on the ABP, PMP, QBP by contributing decks aim for a clear communication with key stakeholders


3.Brand strategy and communication

  • Develop marketing strategy for Maestro baseline, to support overall Biz growth with clear Biz objective, as well as building brand equity among target consumers and trade-up for future
  • Build the brand with compelling proposition and tangible brand communication with execution plan in an on-going optimization way based on deep understanding from category, consumers, competitors, channel needs and diversified local culture
  • Lead the Advertising Agency to think strategically and focus on developing high quality advertising which truly leverage on consumer insights, defending competitors and fit to brand strategic intention.
  • Collaborate with consumer insight team to extract relevant insights that apply to the brand and products.
  • Collaborate with media & digital team to formulate media & digital strategy and continuously enhance the effectiveness & efficiency
  • Work with outside suppliers and internal procumbent to drive cost effectiveness and efficiency for advertising, media, and BTL activations
  • Ensure high quality deployment of merchandising guideline as well as the new tools through collaboration with trade marketing
  • Monitor marketing budget spending by setting clear objectives and review mechanism, initiate adjustment on allocation to optimize investment effectiveness


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree or above;

2. Fluent English communication skills

3. At least 4 years brand management MKTG experience in FMCG industry, experience in personal care category is preferred

4. Multi categories experience in NPD and brand communication

5. Strong business acumen and has strategic/ framework thinking

6. Resilience, be able to dealing with ambiguity and strong interpersonal /communication skills

7.Insightful, good sense of beauty


Main KPIs: Market share, EBIT, Brand Health


Key Interfaces:

Internal: Consumer Insights, Digital, Media, EC, Procurement; Finance; Trade marketing, Product Registration, Supply Chain, R&D, Pkg dev.

External: Agency
