Role & Responsibilities:

Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job):


The core/basic function of this position is to drive brand growth in China by understanding consumer insights, competitive context and retail environment, whilst building awareness, interest and preference for the brand.


Key Result Areas:

  • Responsible to oversee and guide the Brand Marketing team in China overseeing and driving execution of GTM for Product & Brand Marketing and Activations
  • Ensure premium brand positioning consistency with local relevancy and proper implementation of marketing strategies in China with owned and partner communications.
  • Establish Dickies brand in the China market, building awareness and brand equity.
  • Create China holistic seasonal marketing plan, working closely with retail marketing team and E-commerce teams to drive consistent stories and optimize content assets across all touchpoints.
  • Guide and execute, with wholesale team, seasonal holistic marketing plans and calendar and all activations for wholesale partners.
  • Work closely with E-commerce teams for initiation of brand activities with e-commerce partners and titans to drive traffic and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with E-commerce teams to oversee and approve content developed for the platform.
  • Oversee with direct reports, PR and social media strategy, including KOL and content management for China market.
  • Work closely with Retail marketing team to manage brand activities at seasonal China sales meetings.
  • Manage research and consumer insight initiatives for China with CI team.
  • Effectively manage regional marketing budget & demonstrate strong agency leadership
  • Work closely with regional marketing teams for feedback and approvals.
  • Maximize every single investment towards the brand objectives.

Experience


Minimum Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing

  • 8+ years of combined professional experience in marketing strategy and leadership, and managing marketing across disciplines digital, retail, media.

  • 3+ years of team management experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Equally comfortable co-developing a strategy & also implementing it with in-country teams day-to-day.

  • Should be self-motivated able to work effectively in an autonomous environment, proactive and persistent

Minimum Supervisory Experience: 3+ years

Nature of Work: Experience in fashion industry preferred
