Junior / Senior Brand Strategist


Role and Responsibilities:


Summary
The Junior Brand Strategist will work on general Brand Development, Brand Strategy, Brand Creation and Brand Research for selected clients.This work can cover sales channels, marketing mix, in house branding and other Branding and Marketing work. The position must develop a deep understanding of the consumer and the brands target markets.

Duties
The responsibilities of a Junior Brand Strategistmay include creating brand strategies such as positioning, scheduling, and researching the selling platforms. The Brand Strategist can alsobe in charge of building strong customer relationships, developing and executing servicepricing and assisting with developing client promotions, as well as analysing trends in Branding and Marketing. Junior Brand Strategists also provide forecasts for branded products; create, contribute, and present sales presentations; and collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure brand or product requirements are achieved. They also assist in the development of a branded marketing plan; analyse the market and the competition to support the clients in setting a new product pricing.


You are required to be fluent in English, and be able to analyse data and relevant market statistics and create a logic and basic reports of revenues, P&L and other basic company finance information to create a clear overview of business cases and strategic viability of proposed concepts.


Knowledge and Skills Requirements

A Junior Brand Strategist is expected to come up with innovative ideas that would set our clients brands or products apart from the competition. Thus, this position requires the ability to think outside of the box. They should also have good project management, problem solving, and decision making skills; good oral and verbal communication skills, presenting skills and negotiation skills. Brand development managers should also have the ability to network and work well under pressure.

You should also master MS Office, Adobe software and be able to visualise abstract ideas into graphics or presentations.


Additional Duties

? One Day per work week is reserved for translation work on two international Branding books. This work is headed by our Chairman, but work must directly be reported to CEO.
? Oversee and Implement an in house online project management system (Monday.com)
? Oversee and implement in-house branding and strategies

? Understanding multiple industries and assistin planning and performing data collection activities (surveys, site observations, space utilization studies, visioning, etc.)

? Network of information sources
? Able to handle numbers and statistics for strategy
? Analytical skills and familiar with business consultancy models as Porter 5 forces model, Kapferer Brand Prism, etc. and able to MAP cluster of competitors, design styles, pricing models, industry trends in order to find new opportunities for clients.
? Able to grasp new technological developments
? Visualise abstract ideas: Synthesize data findings and information into high quality visualizations and work with consulting team to understand design implications for client reports
? Develop powerful ways to express rewarding user experiences
? Gateway role between Chinese and Western data
? Understand business needs and requirements of clients
? Able to translate western concepts into Chinese organisations
? Assist in graphically designing presentations, marketing packages and proposals
? Skills in facilitating brainstorms with practical deliverables
? Writing proposals and planning with measurable outcome
? Understanding reporting structures
? Good listener and able to take notes of key meetings and translate these into actionable plans with objectives and key results
? Define consumers groups and consumer style groups for consumer segmentation.
? Able to work over multiple skills, from Business consultancy to creative execution
? Familiar with brand and identity design, product design, graphic and communication design, digital media, video productions, retail design, Visual merchandising, Integrated marketing communication.
? Able to produce content for digital and web
? Able to write concise positioning statements and brand stories
? Familiar or native in digital marketing and footprint optimization
? Understanding of Ecommerce and conversion optimization

? Able to learn new theories relevant for clients and the job in extreme short time and master this into the projects.
