Job Description
Key responsibilities:
•Branding tasks including both online and offline branding – online branding related to product design, websites, interfaces, while offline branding related to shelving, product packaging, as well as promotional materials
•Alignment of branding tasks with overall company objectives and goals

What you will do:
• Assist in researching, developing and implementing a branding image to align with competitors and strategically target customers
• Analyze the brand to identify and compare with competitors, pinpoint weak points, and find solutions and opportunities to strengthen the brand image
• Present clear research reports to management to help develop and implement branding strategies
• Conduct SEO and find creative ways to elevate the content and branding to achieve better search results online
• Assist in aligning the brand across all relevant materials, such as the website, business cards, locations, store displays, employee training manuals and promotional materials
• Assist in researching, designing, structuring and integrating the Mercku’s website
• Create engaging content for online articles, blogs, and posts
• Produce translations of the website, advertisement, app store and UI interface content, as well as product descriptions, materials for users and gift displays

Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Masters’ Degree in branding or related field
• Experience in branding or related field
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written – native English speakers preferred
• Other languages are appreciated, especially Mandarin
• Solid understanding of effective branding strategies, materials, and channels
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Experienced in preparing and presenting reports, goals, and forecasts for future projects
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with branding tools. CMS knowledge is also preferred (Mailchimp, Wordpress, HTML, Google Analytics, Adwords, HubSpot, Intercom, etc.)
• Comfortable with social media and experience in community and brand management
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
• Self-motivated and goal oriented, having a great “can do” attitude
• A fast learner with ambition who works well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Cross-culture appreciation and ability to work in an international team
