The Job:

As a core member of the Broadcast Operations team, the Officer will be responsible for all the broadcast operations activities which includes:

Handle program presentation, both pre-recorded material playout and live switching, through the automation system
Prepare on-air material, ingestion, quality check and daily on-air playlist editing
Live feed recording, tape transfer, content encoding and transcoding
Satellite signal reception co-ordination, signal monitoring and emergency recovery
The Person:

F.7 / DSE or IVE graduates, preferably in media/computing/engineering/science related disciplines
Technical operations experience in production company/TV station is definitely an advantage
Candidate should have a keen interest in developing their career in the broadcasting industry
Multimedia encoding knowledge is an advantage
Willing to work on shift basis, including overnight shift
Good command in Chinese, and English
