The Budget Manager is responsible for planning, reporting and managing budgets for the Global Commercial marketing organization. This is an ideal position for a resourceful and motivated individual looking to use their analytical, communications, project management and problem-solving skills to deliver proactive and insightful financial analysis to Commercial Marketing and business teams. Candidate should be able to successfully drive enhancements to the overall marketing budget, payment and procurement process, while communicating and educating cross-functionally. The Budget Manager will also own monthly reporting to our key alliance partners (Intel, Microsoft, Qualcomm, AMD, Google), speaking to quarterly budget planning and progress of funded projects. The ideal Budget Manager is someone who is able to build rapport with executive partners and drive budget planning accountability across team members. Responsibilities • Manage marketing budgets including annual budgeting process, expenditure authorizations, and monthly/quarterly reconciliation • Initiate and/or contribute to improvements in assigned business processes that assure data quality and improve compliance with relevant policies • Embrace and lead the adoption of new marketing tools and a digitalized budgeting process • Coordinate expense items, vendor relations, vendor payments, and other financial processes with global counterparts • Develop tools and management reports to improve financial processes and decision-making through use of fact-based information and analysis • Primary Marketing liaison with Global Finance and Procurement • Present monthly budget reporting to executive partners:  internal leadership and alliance partners • Champion, organize and conduct trainings on budgeting, procurement and payment process to ensure timely launch of marketing activities • Maintain net and alliance budget data in budgeting tool • Minimize financial exposures through on-time payments, full alliance reimbursements and accurate reconciliations Why Lenovo?
