Building Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and fall hazards
• Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in all managed buildings
• Communicate with facilities management about any work that requires outside expert assistance/contractors
• Receive and respond to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues on their premises
• Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
• Maintain safety procedures at all times and comply with regulations
• Must maintain excellent communication with all management, coworkers, and customers

Building Maintenance Technician requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check (OUIs will not pass)
• High school diploma/GED required
• 4+ years of building maintenance experience
• Ability to be on call on evenings and weekends if an emergency presents itself
• Willingness to inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building
• Must have the ability to climb heights, lift up to 60 lbs. and climb onto ladder
• Must have a valid driver’s license
