Our client is a listed reputable property developer in Hong Kong. Due to continuous developments of its residential and commercial portfolio, an additional headcount for Building Services Inspector (BSI) and Clerk of Works (COW) has arisen.

Building Services Inspector

Responsibilities :

• Monitor and supervise building services works to ensure that working procedures, schedules, quality and site safety are in compliance with contractual document and statutory requirements.
• Monitor work progress, carry out inspections, participate in testing and commissioning, and manage site records.
• Assist and report to project managment team and construction team 
• Advise and monitor on rectification of defects .
• Perform site coordination work with consultants / main contractors / sub-contractors / supplies and the government departments.

Clerk of Works

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and monitor work quality and progress works 
• Assist the Project Team to perform site supervisory duties
• Site supervision including, but not limited to, quality inspection, checking of setting out, structural works, builder works, fitting out works, and prepare concise reports and records.
• Monitor work progress and site safety in compliance with the contractual and statutory requirements.
• Advise and monitor on rectification of defects
• Attend site meetings and deliver the standards to relevant parties
• Provide technical advice and solutions to resolve challenges of the construction project
• Prepare relevant evaluation and progress reports;

Requirements :

• Higher Certificate or above in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' related experience as Building Services Inspector/ Clerk of Works or related positions.
• Experience in development projects’ superstructure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and native in Cantonese.
• Familiar with Building Regulations and construction details.
