Our client is one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious property developers; they are currently searching candidate with a strong technical background in building and construction to join their property development team in Hong Kong.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will:

• Handle projects independently from inception to final completion including project planning, negotiation with project design teams and relevant Government sectors.
• Advice on all contractual issues and M/E works, prepare budget for installations and monitoring work progress, check and assess variation and payment claims from sub-contractors, prepare the final account of sub-contractors and interact with project management and consultant teams.
• Be able to lead team to manage the construction projects and implement various quality control measures to enhance overall project and site administration.

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Corporate member of HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE preferred
• Minimum 10 years of solid experience in handling M/E work in residential and commercial developments
• Have strong experience with overall building service works from coordination to execution
• Strong leadership skills in manging a team of engineers
• Must have uncompromising integrity, strong sense of responsibility and good supervisory skills
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Senior Building Services Engineer position
