We are presently recruiting for the position of Business Account Manager to join our Neuroscience primary care team in the field of Migraine covering West Edmonton & Northern Sask. This position reports to our District Sales Manager, Western Canada. The candidate will be responsible to maximize territory sales performance. This includes: strategic territory and customer account planning, building trust and rapport with our physician partners in patient care, identifying and understanding customer needs within physician offices, representing Abbvie products in their respective therapeutic class, and planning and managing a territory budget. Qualifications For this position, the ideal candidate is required to possess a University degree, with emphasis in Business or Science, and a minimum of three to five years in pharmaceutical sales. The candidate must possess basic computer skills such as knowledge of Word/Excel and be at ease in delivering Power Point presentations. They must also have excellent presentation and selling skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. The position may require travel as determined by the business need (including some evenings and/or weekends). The incumbent will ensure compliance with Abbvie and industry policies and procedures, including safety rules and will complete administrative responsibilities, as required, on time. Preference for this position will be given to those that can demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter. Specific experience within primary care sales is also highly preferred. Ideally, the candidate should reside in the territory area.
