Job Description

For our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division we are looking for an experienced, client oriented person to join our team in Central Europe as a Business Acquisition Manager for CEE region. The position may be located in Poland or Czechia.

The main purpose of the role:

The Business Acquistion Manager will be responsible for managing Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Covid product portfolio, achieving sales targets and growing the business within customers in a designated territory/area, primarily focusing on non-healthcare segments such as Transportation sector, Enterprise/Employers, Education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading both strategic & all operational commercial activities in its respective territory as below in alignment with local Sales teams
  • Develop and customize the regional commercial strategy to be aligned with Abbott Global & Regional Marketing Strategy
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and business development (New market segment) of the Covid business, by providing extensive market intelligence relevant to maximizing the market opportunities in its territory
  • Meet established financial goals (Top line & bottom line) and objective while maintaining territory budget
  • Support distribution partners in the sale of products, including training, sales meeting, technical expertise and marketing support
  • Identify customer issues and resolves sales related difficulties

Requirements:

  • University degree in relevant field is a must (preferably in Medical technology Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory science or equivalent)
  • Post-Graduate qualifications in Marketing or Business would be a strong asset
  • Extensive experience with solutions architecture and operational workflow design
  • Extensive experience with consultative selling and strategic account management
  • Extensive experience with selling to and negotiating with senior level stakeholders, in large, complex enterprise accounts
  • At least 5 years of Sales experience in IVD industry desirable
  • At least 1-3 years in sale manager level and international company
  • Proven excellence in both written and oral communication in English
  • Aggressive, willing to take on stretch targets
