Job Description

We have an opening for a Business Administration position within Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Korea (Direct contract. Backup for an employee on maternity/child-care leave for approx. 15 months).
Ideal candidates have a solid background in business administration, a mindset of collaboration, are proactive and take initiative, are passionate about learning and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks
- Detailed administrative support to the Head of Research & Development Korea as well as to the R&D team and related departments
- Budget planning and continuous cost controlling
- Creation of spread sheets and presentations for regular review sessions
- Cost allocation to internal projects
- Contract management and invoicing
- Monthly, quarterly and annual closing
- Purchase requisitions and purchase order management
- Management and monitoring of goods delivery and contract fulfillment
- General office management (inventory, visitor management, coordination of external services, etc.)
- Support of the R&D teams for various administrative topics
- Support for onboarding of new team members within the R&D team (e.g. ordering all necessary equipment)
- Continuous improvement of all activities in own responsibility
