Main responsibilities:

Elaborate business case including project structuring and valuation, based on traditional and non-traditional methods of measuring shareholders value creation

Prepare investment proposal concerning new projects to be submitted to Executive Board and Board of Directors

Participation in M&A processes in the iron ore and port spaces, including the participation in due diligences

Provide support for the procurement and negotiation of Port Service Agreements and contracts with ports, including contract preparation and review, FCPA due diligence, internal approval process, amongst others

Support internal operations and sales teams with all actions necessary to facilitate contract management

Support the supervision of Chinese JV activities as a whole in line with governance

Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning of JVs according to guidelines

Provide monthly/yearly follow up of operational and financial aspects of the JVs with analysis, comments and action plan

Profile

Education: Economics, Business, Finance majors are strongly preferred

Experience: professional with around 3 years of working experience (max. 5 years) in functions such as business development, M&A, valuation or consulting.

Skills: valuation (free cash flow and other methods); financial analysis; capable of carrying on his/her tasks with minimal coaching; proactive; good presentation/communication skills; organized; easy/willing to interact with people; capable of developing strategic/holistic view of problems
