About Role:
The successful business analyst will work within one of our strategic programmes, working on the implementation of a new system to support the vendor management team. Your job will be to support the gathering of requirements, analysing business operations, identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The successful applicant will have a background in business analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude. You will report directly to the Vendor Management Project Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Business process definition and mapping, defining the current business processes, documenting them, and mapping out the steps involved in the process
- Data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help improve the business processes.
- System requirement gathering, identifying the functional and non-functional requirements of the system, including hardware, software, and network requirements.
- Working with the business and development teams to reach a solution that meets the identified requirements, considering factors such as feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and ease of implementation.
- Identifying potential risks that could affect the project or the business processes, assessing the likelihood and impact of those risks, and working with the project manager to develop strategies to mitigate or manage them.
- Testing the solution to ensure that it meets the requirements and performs as expected. This can involve user acceptance testing, system testing, and other forms of validation.
- Develop end-user process training and support development of system training material.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Visio etc.
• Understanding of SQL, database design, and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
